It's late here, just after 8pm. Have a beef patty in the toaster oven, gravy, baked potato, l/o broccoli waiting in the micro to be reheated when the patty is done.
Meanwhile finished off a beet and feta cheese salad (not bad but not again), some bean sprout salad (not bad but needs tweaking.)
We ordered out so DH could have pie. I ordered a hamburger steak and DH had a pizza (pie). It's a local brasserie (tavern). The food was good. The pie was really good. We had one piece of apple pie and one piece of key lime pie, both of which we shared. So, DH managed to get pie times three.
We went to lunch at a Mexican/Spanish restaurant. Craig had ropa viejo and I had steak fajitas. I had enough left for 5 small fajitas, so Craig had 3 for dinner and I had 2.
A couple times now I've made some tostadas, using that lentil/greens mix, I made a few days ago. I just spread the mash on one of the toasted tortillas, along with some cheese, topped with another tortilla, and some cheese, then heated in the MW on a lower level, then tore a couple of leaves of lettuce on top. Used different cheeses, for variety.
