I have a great pineapple cake recipe if anyone would like it. It has a glaze instead of Icing. It is a very moist cake.

hey jude, don't be afraid. take your last post, and make it better. remember, to include all the ingredients in it, then you'll begin, to become a regular...(as sung to that ol' beatles tune...)

btw, yes, i'd like the recipe...

Pineapple Cake

1 reg. can crushed pineapple (not the small one)
2 ½ T cornstarch
1 C sugar
1 t vanilla
Cook these ingredients until slightly thickened then let cool.

1 box yellow cake mix
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
1/3 C water
4 eggs
¾ C oil

Blend all ingredients then add pineapple mixture when cool. Bake at 350* for 40-45 minutes or until done when tested with toothpick. While still hot from the oven prick with a large fork and add the following topping.

2 C powered sugar
2 t melted margarine
½ C water
1 t vanilla

This is always better a day or two later, if it lasts that long!

;)

thanks jude. i love pineapple cake. gonna try to get the little missus to make me one (she's a really good baker). thanks again, and btw, you did great.

Hi Jude, is there are specific size of pan you use to bake this. If you could clarify that would help.

BTW thxs for the recipe my kids love pineapple so they will enjoy the cake.

yakuta

I use a 9X13 inch cake pan but you could use any size, just adjust the baking time and test for doneness. This isn't a really "sweet" cake but very moist and full of flavor.

Hope the kids enjoy it as much as I do :!:
