I'll agree that chicken does not belong on pizza. Or BBQ sauce. But that's just me.

California Pizza Kitchen makes a BBQ Chicken pizza that is one of their top sellers. I have to admit that it does taste pretty good, but I refuse to order it, just as a matter of principal. I'll put the same ingredients on a flour tortilla, and call it a taco, and be fine with it. But not a pizza. :ROFLMAO:

The only meat used on authentic, traditional pizzas is cured meats or sausage, like the famous "Pizza salsiccia e cime di rape" (broccoli rabe and sausage)

At a local market that often sets out samples of pizza slices, I tried a piece of a BBQ Chicken Ranch pizza -- hesitantly, mind you, but I took a small slice. It was surprisingly good. I ate the whole slice as I wandered through the store. But I still won't order a chicken pizza, nor will I buy a frozen one. It's a mental thing, I think. I just can't get past the fact that someone, somewhere, one day decided that putting chicken on a pizza was a good idea.
