How on earth do you post a picture in private Conversation?

I wish that were allowed. Sometimes forum members would like to share photos with another forum member of kids, grandkids, etc. but not do so publicly out of protection. It would be great if we were able to do that.

Yes - I agree one hundred and ten percent. I'd never post Danika's picture in the forums, never and I don't know why we can't do that - unless the powers that be think we're all going to start sending each other "naughty pictures" or something

This is the first forum I have come across that doesn't allow it .... but it doesn't matter I have gotten around the problem anyway.

Same with me. This is the only forum I've joined that doesn't allow it.

Interesting. I’m going to assume that the mods might have less control over the content of the pictures that might be shared across a private conversation.
The cynic in me considers that some pictures could be shared which are subject to copyright protection or even have legal implications?

I wanted to share a very entertaining meme the other day and thought it wouldn’t be suitable for the wider forum (it was potentially political) but would be very much appreciated by one person in particular.
Unfortunately that couldn’t happen so I described it instead, that didn’t work at all

Yes, that! Jokes and photos in private conversation that while are not lewd and lascivious, might be political or in some other way violate forum rules. And a picture or image can sum things up quite nicely most of the time.

It is a decision made by the owners of the forum to not allow. If you need to send personal pictures to other members you can do so via email.
