First time visitor and canner. I canned some BBQ beans today and followed the instructions to the letter. My jars have been out of the canner for almost an hour and a half and yet they are still bubbling. Is that normal?
 
Welcome mcjgladden! I'm not a pressure canner person, lots here are and will be along soon. Just off the top of my head, I would say yes, especially in a warm room/kitchen. Just don't let them be in a draft to cool.
 
Yes it is normal for the bubbling/boiling to continue on the counter for quite a while. This facebook group is about canning and preserving in a safe way.
