i just found some knifes that my wifes mom had and know nothing about them they are Koch messer and Schinken messer . are they any good ? they are still in the box they came in

Kochmessen is German for Chef's Knife. Those names appear to be types of knives, not brands.

If those are made with Damascus steel, like the ones on the website, those are some very hard knives.
