I grow my own here, I've been picking and friends have been picking when I was away. These get frozen. Today I had a kg in freezer so I made jam. It's the best ever being home made. You mericans prolly don't do it the way we do. We sterilise the jars in hot water then dry in oven. Then pour the hot mix in and seal. I think you have different regs there. I just do it the way my nana did.

Nice, Rascal.

I used to grow my own raspberries, but never preserved them. Never had enough for a surplus after all of the kids in the neighborhood had their fill.
 
Yeah my mate who watered the garden while I was away never froze raspberries, he plead guilty to eating them. They are very sweet. Wife had a scone with butter jam and cream on last night. Said its 10/10.
