I made a quick apple crisp tonight. It just came out of the oven and is very hot.

I'm getting tired and am thinking of going to bed...will the crisp be OK sitting out all night or do I need to let it cool off more and put it in the fridge?

Let it cool, cover it with plastic wrap and poke a couple of holes in the plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator. Putting the holes in the plastic wrap will keep the crusty part from becoming too soggy.

When you're ready to eat it, put it in the microwave to warm it.

Storing it in the refigerator with the holes in the plastic wrap is only a short term solution.
