Ooh - please advise what you do with that. Sounds interesting and I’m not sure that I’ve heard of it.

Like Rocky would say, I think I invented it ;)

One day I felt like having stew, but didn't want the extra work of cutting the meat into bite size pieces, flouring it and browning in batches. Nor did I want to break out the DO. Which is a PITB to wash. So I floured the chuck roast, seared it, and cooked it in a skillet with the usual vegetables.
Then I ate it like a steak.
I guess technically it's skillet roast that tastes like stew ;)

The cost of lamb here (US) is rediculous; however they justify the cost by telling us it is Australian Lamb. Whether it is or not is another thing.
It probably is Aussie lamb. American lamb is more expensive.
