Manhattan-Style Bay Scallop Chowder.... Yukons, Carrots, Onions, Tomatoes, Celery, Mushrooms, Bacon....... SoS - Kraft Catalina French...

We had hamburgers with all the fixings.

I made us sloppy joes. Potato chips, dill pickles. Easiest thing either of us could think of without using too much brain power.

It's cold today, sunny but cold, so I made a pot of beef-barley soup with mushrooms. Toasted ciabatta rolls on the side.

Sushi, salad, steamed veg, and some fruit.

We took advantage of the mid 60's weather and DH grilled burgers. That was it...burgers.

Meatloaf wrapped in Bacon
Steamed White Rice
Green Beans
and jarred Brown Gravy
I found the Gravy in my outside pantry and figured, what the heck
it wasn't half bad

I hadn't made Meatloaf in a while, so I did a WWW search to be
certain of temps and times, only to find that by wrapping the
Bacon around your Meatloaf, it will not only impart more flavor,
but also keep it moist... DH asked me to make Meatloaf this way
when we first started dating, that his Mom made it this way, on
a sheet pan.
I like using the Bacon as a built in thermometer, when it's done, so is the Meatloaf.

We have just enough leftover for a Cold Meatloaf Sandwich tomorrow

I do miss a meatloaf with bacon wrapped around it. Yummy.

I was craving a BLT sandwich, but decided to go for a BLT salad instead. Hit the spot. Will find a movie tonight and have a bowl of black cherry ice cream before bed.

Our Friday pot roast became open faced roast beef sandwiches w/gravy for Saturday..

D & SIL dropped by with milkshakes for dessert.. We stayed far apart.. I miss hugging..

We had our Saturday Soup supper - potato, onion and kielbasa. Sliced cucumbers and tomatoes for sides, and many-layer chocolate cake for dessert.

I made Kayelle’s Greek Thighs, using legs because that's what I had. I love this dish . Greek salad on the side.

Salt. These were frozen. When I make them fresh, I slice them several hours before and brine them so they don't need salt after frying.
