What to eat when I am homesick! Collards, sweet tea, corn on the cob, soup beans with cornbread and fresh onion, pickle beets, skillet-fried potatoes, and cherry tomatoes. Frank, who is not a country boy, had hotdogs.

I had a ball of pizza dough in the freezer I wanted to use before it got too warm to crank up the oven so I made us a cheese pizza. Other than a couple of huge bubbles that caused the crust to burn under them, it was really good.
