Tonight I combined a couple of my Hungryroot dinners into a single meal and made Paneer Tikka Masala with Chickpeas and Cauliflower. Seems like I am always accumulating packages of brown rice and quinoa, so that's what I served it on.

Yay, hurrah for the melamine plates. I bought a set, just to be “authentic” 🤣
Chow Mein is one of those quaint things that western restaurants offer. Try asking for chow mein in Bangkok and expect at least a confused look at best, or a rolling eyed sigh.
That looks like it would be a nice meal 🫠

Rainy outside, and my car is clean. Decided on one of my homemade mini pizzas. My huge basil plant is hurting, but still has plenty of fresh, supple leaves. I need to use them fast.

Just sauce, whole milk mozzarella and fresh basil on this one. Low rent Margherita pizza.

Well, it's 1AM, and my mom woke me up just as I fell asleep, and I spent the last 20 minutes telling her where she is, who I am, and that there are people there to take care of her. The "Who are you?" is always a bit weird when she calls me, and addresses me by my name, but dementia is a thing you just have to learn to deal with.

I couldn't go back to sleep, and was hungry, so had some sliced steak, with Swiss cheese and Cajun mustard on a toasted roll. Will that help? Probably not. Protein and carbs? The only thing that might help is the cheese... dairy.
