Tried a new recipe. Mixed everything and put it in the oven. Except for the butter. I forgot! I pulled it out, and the only thing I could think of was to pour some oil over the top and mix in with a fork. Wish me luck.
It worked. Small bit of oil that didn't mix in completely, gave the top a nice crunchy texture. Cornbread itself was very good. Have to do it again this way.
