I finished up the tomato tart a little bit ago. I just need to pop it in the oven when I warm up a ham slice and cook a smashed potato.

I don't have high hopes for the crust. It got away from me when I tried that rolling pin thing where you roll it up on the pin and then unroll it on the pie tin. My beautiful pastry got thin real fast. And it shrank when I was blind baking it. Hopefully things will be slightly better than if I had made everything in a baking dish.

It is 19F right now. I'm making a big bowl of Cuban black bean soup, that I will eat with rice. I can have a fart war with my mom's dog later tonight. She will win, but I can make a valiant effort. ;) :ROFLMAO:

That dog can peel paint with her toots. I have to leave whatever room she is in when she goes cropdusting.

We had ground ribeye burgers from Omaha Steaks with American cheese and bacon Saturday night. I put fresh spinach, sliced tomatoes, mayonnaise, and mustard on mine. I buttered and seared the inside of the buns before building them. Messy but oh so delicious! DH had sliced dill pickles, mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup.
 
does it matter? LOL, food is food and if it is going in my tummy even better! Don't care what the date is. LOL

I was only saying that suggesting to do something to tweak a meal that was eaten a couple days ago is fruitless. Unless rascal is posting today's supper in older existing threads.

On the I (you) don't care what date it is...
Didn't Frank just say we have a daily supper thread because that's the way we do things here?

Here is a perfect case where a monthly thread would help some out. :)
