This question could be funny to many of you but I want to know the softest and probably the "creamiest" cake. I saw this cake at the dessert bar of a buffet, it was red and white, and was something like a hybrid between cake and pudding (more cake less pudding). Anyone got any idea what it could be please?

I don't remember how they were made. You bought a cake mix and I believe the pudding mix came with it. My favourite was a lemon one, was sort of a lemon curd. Chocolate was also a good one, but I wasn't a big fan of chocolate pudding.
I think you mixed the cake as per usual, then sprinkled the pudding mix on top, carefully floated water and oil on top of that. Baked, the cake would rise and the pudding would mostly sink.
They were great! More expensive mixes so obviously we didn't have them that often. One mix just barely went around and two... well that was real indulgence! Had friends who made them more from scratch but I never got there.

Thinking about this a bit more, from the description you could also be referring to a Tres Leches cake. They are typically very moist. Translates to 3 milk cake and are southwestern/latino cuisine tradition.

Maybe something like a poke cake?

Thanks a lot everyone. I'm going to see them on YouTube one by one to see what it is first. Then I want to see if I can make it. Will update here with progress 😃

Ever tried "Tiramisù"?
Literally melts in your mouth, delicious and no cooking required! 😃
You must use "mascarpone" to make this, I don't know if you can find this Italian creamy cheese in your stores.

Looks delicious. That cheese is available here at a few shops but costs around 20USD for 250 grammes. Lol.

I'll check out some videos.
