Something is wrong...Lay's Flamin' Hot Potato Chips!!

i love Lays flaming hot potato chips , bit the last two bags i have gotten has an overpowering taste of onions to them , the 1st bag i got i thought it was just a fluke
( things happen ) but a couple days later i got another bag and its got the same problem
anyone else having this problem ?

Sorry, I don't eat those. Probably a batch of chips got an overdose of onion. No way to tell how many bags were impacted.

See if there is a lot number on the package - something to identify it. Let Lay's know! It's very possible they are not even aware. Plus they just might compensate you, especially if you are amongst the first to let them know.

i looked there is no lot # on the bag , but i did send an E-mail to Fritto Lay
letting them know , at 4.99 a bag it could get expensive thing to find a good bag , i eat 1-2 bags of these a week

I looked and they haven't changed the recipe for the flamin' hot chips since 2022. So yeah, it sounds like a batch got too much onion powder, which is one of the ingredients.

yea i think that was the year they put blue cheese in them and there was so much public push back they had to change them back to the original flavor

whats funny is that my wife just bought me a bag of
" flaming hot funyuns" and i can hardly taste the onions in them..
