What is the strangest pizza shenanigans everyone has seen? One of my coworkers made a decent pizza with hotdogs on it, and as a joke another coworker made a hotdog with little pizzas on it.

Even though a little strange, both of those must have been very tasty. 😃
Pizza with chips and chopped hotdog sausages are very popular over here with kids, and not only ! 😁 Not my personal choice, though.

Oh, Oh, I actually made a pizza once with weird toppings, and it was from a small town in Italy. Pizza Rossini. I think I posted it on this forum before???

Yeah, that's hard boiled egg slices and mayonnaise.

One of our more notable pizza places in the Twin Cities is Pizzaria Lola. They've been featured on Food Network and a recent Netflix special. They serve a few unusual pizzas including the Lady Zaza, which has Kimchi, Korean Sausage, and Gochujang sauce. Another is called the Sunnyside, which has Leeks, Guanciale, and a couple of Sunnyside Eggs.

I love pineapple on pizza. So there!

Funny this thread is going, as I'm making homemade pizza tonight with one of my favorite combinations - mushroom, onion and green bell pepper. I don't normally put meat on my pizzas, unless it's ham, although I do occasionally get a craving for a sausage pizza. But that's rare. I like sausage and green olive as well.

As for weird pizzas, the strangest thing I've ever seen on a pizza was cockles. I was like Whaaaaaaat??? Saw it on some show once and couldn't stomach the thought of that or any other type of shellfish on pizza. Disgusting.

The weirdest one I've seen lately was pizza with Brussels Sprouts and walnuts.

You lost me at Kimchi. (n)

...and Kimchi?

Why does food have to be combined out of context?
Probably because the owner, Ann Kim, is Korean. I'll admit, I was skeptical. But I've had it and it was delicious. She owns several restaurants here and in 2019 won the James Beard award for best chef in the Midwest.

Granted, it's Guy Fieri, and I take anything he says with a grain of salt but this is her appearance on Food Network's Triple D...

In 1977 in Saskatchewan my aunt taught me to make pizza with shrimp and pineapple. That was my first pineapple on pizza. I remember mc donalds (no McD's in the town I was staying in! it was a small town), was test marketing pizza!

I watched a YouTube review video earlier today that had the McD's ham and pineapple pizza in it, and the reviewer said it was horrible.

Well, I mean, it's McDonald's :ROFLMAO:

I used to like McDonald's years ago. Can't stand it anymore. Honestly, the only thing I still like from McD's is the regular old hamburgers. And, okay, the fries and chicken nuggets. But they can keep the rest of their sandwiches, including the Big Mac, which used to be a favorite of mine. The last couple of times I had it (if something tastes like crap to me, I'll give it one more shot) it was seriously disgusting.

Seriously, it's been more than 40 years since I've been in a McD's. Actually it's closer to 50. Took my daughter's after a Ringette game, for the 3 of us ended up costing me half my gas money for the car. Never went again.
