I'll be catering dinner for daughter, SIL, and the grandson this afternoon (granddaughter is too young to eat real food). I have a recipe from Cooks Illustrated for tagliatelle with bolognese sauce, but the link is no longer active without a subscription (I copied it when I got their email). Sauce is in the fridge, and I made a batch of fresh pasta a short while ago. Big green salad and a loaf of dutch oven rosemary and olive oil bread to go with it.

I'll be doing killer hamburgers. The plan is bacon/mushrooms and cheese with special sauce made with QP mayo/dill relish/ketchup on bakery buns. Tater Tots for the side.

So far, it's clam dip. Hopefully I'll come up with some additions.

I was in a New York State of Mind today, so I had a Kosher hot dog, on a fresh bakery roll, with sauerkraut and yellow mustard. Lays chips and an IBC Cream Soda on the side.

Since the dog was fully cooked, I decided to try something new, and "broil" it with the Searzall. It worked out great! Nicely browned and lightly blistered, but no burned parts. It had a nice bite to it.

Paul Prudhomme's Cajun Shepherd's pie, though it's technically a cottage pie since it's made mostly with ground beef anda bit of ground pork. It's s 3 layer meatloaf, meatloaf on the bottom, a mix of carrots, onions, green and yellow squash, topped with mashies. Craig uses Paul's very hot sauce for beef, but it's more than spicy enough for me.

Good looking and sounding dinners! :yum:

I had an artichoke (again), with a small potato salad for a side. The artichokes have been very nice lately and at 2/$4, I picked up several of them last week.

We were house hunting so, we stopped for a late lunch..

I had what passes for a taco salad, in Missouri.. Meh but filling..

We just grazed the fridge for dinner..
