Those 3 filled me!
In case you wanted to see it before I ate...

there might be a couple of little morsels of potato missing.
there are 3 more ribs I put back in the oven while I ate, but I'm full so they will survive until tomorrow... or midnight.

after 45 minutes at 325°F I threw the oiled potatoes in with the ribs. They were done in 30 minutes so took'em out.
All those signs around town for the Rib Fest coming up, well, I couldn't help myself.
That's only half the rack (thick end), the other half I seasoned, wrapped and froze. Maybe have next week? or whenever I remember far enough in advance to defrost.
Beef Ribs were about $19+ and I'll get 3 or maybe even 4 meals from it.
Pkg was something like 8?? grams. ($22.02 per kg. Approx. $11.00 per pound.)

So what's on your plate this Sunday?

I sauteed a fresh salmon fillet in butter, then dressed it with salt, pepper, garlic powder, sesame seeds, and honey. Cooked it until it flaked.

Our side was baby red potatoes cooked in the crock-pot with butter, paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Was a good accompaniment to the salmon.

We came seriously close to finishing the almond vanilla pudding cookies...one more day left of those goodies.

I made some tortillas using wheat flour instead of corn, then I made a filling by stir frying sausages cut up into pieces, red/yellow peppers, onions, mushrooms, some canned cherry tomatoes, all cooked in EVOO, with a sprinkle of chilli powder.
I had planned to make tacos, but I think I came out with a cross between a burrito, taco and piadina. 😀 I had to use a knife and fork for these, they couldn't have been eaten by hand. The shape is crooked as you can see, and my presentation techniques are a no-no area. 😁

I would put that filling in a quesadilla. Especially when there are wheat flour tortillas to use.

I had one of my Danish dishes. It's called "pariserbøf". I'm sure that somewhere in its origin story is a Parisian dish. I just wonder what it might have been. It's a ground beef patty that can be cooked separately or on the bread. In this case, the heavy rye bread is not used. This is "toastbrød" - toast bread, bread for making toast, so a fluffy wheat bread. It is accompanied by pickled beets, red onion, capers, pickled veggies, horseradish (It's supposed to be fresh, raw horseradish, but I can't find that very often, so I used prepared horseradish.), and a raw egg yolk. I also had a leafy green salad with homemade Thousand Island dressing. I really enjoyed that supper.

Thanks for the tip, I looked up quesadilla, it seems that they are traditionally corn flour tortillas with cheese as the main filling amongst other ingredients , "queso" being the Spanish word for cheese.
I have to read more about the differences between burritos, tacos, quesadillas, fried or grilled.. 😁There's a whole fascinating Mexican gastronomy to get informed about.

I had to look that one up, never heard of them! A very interesting name you have for them , great, filling snacks, they're very similar to our long, bread rolls, different in texture to the French "baguettes".

Quesadillas are usually flour tortillas, at least in the US. They can be just cheese, or can have other ingredients, like meat or veggies.

@Meryl They have various names. Submarine sandwiches, heroes, hoagies, grinders, etc. They may have variations, but the basics are there. There is a chain restaurant called Subway because they make and sell Subs. :giggle:
