Sunday Supper 2025 January 26

Tonight's supper had two new to me recipes. One was for baked haddock and the other was for green beans with parmesan. They were both good, but need tweaking. My oven may be running hot. I had boiled potatoes with that. I had an apple for dessert and some dark chocolate.

As mentioned in another thread, Had my serving of the Cheesy Ham & Potato Casserole that I had made for upstairs.
Good but like in taxy's case above, will need a bit of tweaking. Certainly an excellent recipe for a family with left-over ham.

Grilled cheese & bologna sandwich and tomato soup. Diced peaches & dark chocolate for dessert.

Went out for dinner. Had a $100 gift card from a mystery shop job, so dinner cost $26 and change, all of which short of $2 and change was tip. Two 15 oz prime ribs, 2 glasses of wine, 1 coke, 2 sides, 2 clam chowders we got to go and 2 fudge brownies, hot fudge, ice cream also to go.

Pugs got a few pieces of prime rib.

We had a houseguest who took DH out for dinner. I had leftovers - plain baked chicken and spaghetti squash.

Oh, thanks for the reminder. I just went and typed in my notes to those two recipes on CMT (Copy Me That). I added a new "collection" to my CMT. It's "needs tweaking".

Meal sized salads, green beans, romaine, tomatoes, apples, pickles, red beans, quinoa and a caesar (sunflower seeds base) dressing.

Maybe some Alfredo sauce, or sour cream?

I had the rest of the blue cheese-mustard sauce over a chicken breast with the last of the lettuce and some buttered, salted corn. There was a bit too much dressing on the salad because it decided to come out of the bottle all at once. But that finished up the dressing, too.

I need to get my plates out of storage.

Thanks, but there was plenty of sauce - it was more the ham and salt content.
Next time I might add some broccoli thou, must put that in my notes!
