My store finally got tots in stock – I got Bowl & Basket, onion-flavored tots/puffs. Dinner was shallow fried fish sticks, shallow fried tots, and roasted cauliflower (not pictured).

The best home fries are cooked in bacon grease. Onions cooked in bacon grease are pretty darned good too.
Tonight for supper, we had an old school, Danish recipe that I have tried before. it's called "Kylling i karry". That means chicken in curry powder or curry paste. It's easy to make and tasty. It is definitely going into rotation. As recommended with the recipe, had it with rice (brown basmati) and mango chutney. We really enjoyed that. The apple is a really nice touch.

DH has been craving Albondigas...so that's what I made. And a side of nachos! Yum!

Actually there was a serving of grits and gravy left, without shrimp, bacon, mushrooms or scallions. I had it for lunch today.
