We just nibbled and rested. We were at the home of Glenn's daughter and her husband for yesterday's festivities/mayhem.
I was ever so happy to see that Heather didn't go full bore making a big meal as she usually does. This year, she had an array of finger nibbles, dips, chips, crackers, fresh fruits, veggies, soup in the crock-pot and some desserts on the buffet. This time...she was able to more actively participate in the event. I hope she does this more often.
And, as I said above, we nibbled and rested. I even took a nap, which has become rare for me. Today was a lovely relaxing day enjoying each other's company.
But...I began my list of things I want to make as gifts for friends and family next year. Once the sewing machine sees the doctor, it'll be purring and my knitting needles will be clickin' and clackin' in a couple of days because I got some GOOD ideas from the conversation around the Christmas tree yesterday.
