We had oval burgers on the grill. They were oval because I had sausage buns that needed using up! Cheese, tomato slices, and mixed salad greens topped my burger. Himself had just cheese, with tomato on the side. Loverly opted to take her burger for lunch tomorrow since she didn't get to eat lunch today until about 6:30 PM. Goober appears to be MIA...:ermm: Nothing else because we ate too late, even for us! :LOL:
 
Pasta last night..Stewed sausages in tomato sauce. Served with spagetti, garlic bread and salad...

Mario Batali's bucatini all'Amatriciani with some of the guanciale. We are liking the guanciale more and more each time we use it.

We've had this with pancetta before and loved it, but the guanciale takes it over the top!:yum:
 
Homemade Chicken Liver Pate brought by one of the girls.

Then Steamed Mussels with Fennel, Tomatoes, Ouzo and Cream. Baguette to sop it up the cream (I just lifted the bowl and drank it). :LOL:

Fresh Fruit Salad with whipped creme.

3 of us ate the 4 lbs of mussels... not a drop in a shell left. :pig: :angel:
