I gave up coffee once. It was the worse hour of my life.

I arrived at work at 7:45 a.m. Was going to stop on the first floor to get my morning cup of coffee. I made this sill decision to give up coffee. By 10 a.m., three people in my office went downstairs and bought me a cup of coffee. That was more than 20 years ago. I should have gotten a cup of tea instead of trying to quit living altogether.

What is making it work this time is that I have the tea to fall back on.

One hard week, Saturday came but I was still working hard from home. I had the MacBook out. The phone was getting a workout when a four-year-old brought me a fresh cup of coffee she had just made me on the Keurig. She said that I needed it. I think she was right.
