Which of these are best in a tomato based pasta sauce? Which of these are best with spuds? Which are best on pizza?

Most of these are just a question of, "What dish?"

2. Beef or venison
3. pork, or wild boar
4. white tail, or elk: I enjoyed white tail deer; I have yet to try wapiti (elk - Cervus canadensis)
5. moose, or bear
6. fresh water, or salt water fish: salt water. I can't abide fresh water fish.
7. octopus, or squid
8. frogs legs, or turtle: I have never eaten turtle.
9. shrimp, or scallops
10. oysters, or clams
11. lobster, or crawdads
12. sardines, or kippered herring: kippered herring, but I prefer the Danish smoked herring to kippered.
13. duck, or goose
14. pheasant, or quail: I haven't tried either, but aren't quail tiny and very fiddly?
