The plan right now is for steak...

.....and steak it was. We also had some reheated roasted potato chunks from earlier in the week, and more tomatoes from the garden.

I love tomatoes, but it seems like they are now all ripening at once, so we're a little overwhelmed at the moment. It's funny how I always crave that first vine-ripened tomato of the year, but come about September I'm kind of tomatoed out. :neutral:

Me, too, so I roast, peel and freeze some in 2-cup portions for later. During the winter, I'll use them sometimes for a recipe that calls for a 15-oz. can of diced tomatoes. It's so nice to have that fresh tomato flavor over the winter.
