I'm planning baked ziti and making the other sheet of puff pastry cherry turnovers (I may glaze this batch).

I think we are going to do appetizers, chicken wings and Buffalo chicken dip, salad wedges

A very lazy, Chipolata (gourmet pork chipolata with pepper and nutmeg) fries, baked beans and peas.

Followed later by some luverly strawberries from our garden with ice cream.

I'm going to heat up some of the smoked pulled pork we made last weekend. Will serve it with watermelon-feta salad (really love this stuff), homemade watermelon rind pickles, leftover pasta salad, and sliced cucumber and tomato for me.

Bought some haddock and salmon at the market today. I'll bake the haddock with butter and breadcrumbs for SO and pan sear the salmon for me. That and a salad will be dinner.

Have you posted recipes for: watermelon-feta salad and homemade watermelon rind pickles? They sound good.

I can't post them here because they're not my recipes; that would be a copyright violation. I have posted links in response to questions before.

I have this book, which has the recipe for the pickled watermelon rinds:
Put 'Em Up! A Comprehensive Guide for the Creative Cook

Looks like this is tomorrow, leftover spaghetti tonight (and cornbread for the weirdo) heh heh... its so darn hot

Finally got around to our duck breast with zucchini noodles, enoki and beech mushrooms from Chef Mehta. Made some cracklings for the pugs from excess skin and fat. I should have waited until after we ate to let them have them.

Med, when I try to see your pics, all I see is a broken link.

Chicken salad here. Or I should say salad with a bit of chicken. DH apparently has been grazing on the cooked chicken.

Lol your DH is always grazing and ruining your plans. I bet he talks about how lucky he is with all the good food around constantly!!

Plans changed. DD wanted Chinese. So hub and I split a pint of roast pork and Chinese vegetables.

Sketti n Vegetables

I don't dare call it primavera. The picture isn't worth the bandwidth. Tasted better than it looks though. Just practicing with the camera in case I make something good someday.

I love watermelon-feta salad too, GG! One of my fave family style restaurants when my family and I are out on the road, https://www.bjsrestaurants.com/menu, got me hooked on them a few years ago. I've been making this copycat I found online. Love the honey citrus vinaigrette!

I usually omit the pickled red onion, though. :)
