We "kitchened!" Tonight, we had salmon cakes, roasted garden beets, celery salad with garden cucumbers, string beans with garden pea-sized potatoes, coleslaw, and garden tomato slices. Frank does not eat beets or string beans, so he made some rice-a-roni. What about you?

Made a pocket slash in a humongous chicken breast earlier (306 gr and that's with the tender pulled off). Just went and fed/watered chickens, rabbits and am now just sitting staring at the recipe for stuffing it. Sigh.... it's 8pm so thinking it just might not happen.
Bread and peanut butter sounds pretty good about now.

"Kitchened" for lunch - linguine (dried, bronze-cut pasta) with pesto which I made with my home-grown basil.
Supper was string beans and potato salad, followed by dessert - Greek yogurt/mascarpone coffee and blueberry cheesecake that my daughter made.

I cooked a hamburger steak with some mushrooms and made a pan sauce when those were done. I had the last of the asparagus-feta-sunflower seeds dish. I nuked that asparagus dish on level 4 power, but 2 minutes was a bit long. I was aiming to take the chill off, but this melted the cheese. It was still delicious.
