What did you have? I had the other hamburger steak that I cooked last night. I didn't want the ground beef going off. I wasn't sure how well that would stand up to reheating, but I nuked it and it was fine. I had the last of the rice pilaf and a salad with the last of the Thousand Island dressing. I'm stuffed. I didn't feel like making gravy, so I used a bit of green tomatillo salsa from La Costeña. That actually worked quite well.

Threw together a curry where I used chicken thighs I had and velveted them and used onion, garlic chives, Chinese broccoli, bamboo shoots, shiitake's and some water chestnuts and long grain basmati, which I haven't had for a long time. I used chicken stock for the sauce. Tasty and I have left overs too. :)

Tired Tuesday indeed. I don't know what was going on, but I was so tired yesterday that I practically fell asleep walking. So you mustered more than I did. I just threw together a pot of bean soup (using canned beans and some fresh veggies) and made a wrap with ham, lettuce and Miracle Whip. That's it.

You bet...Tired Tuesday.
Tuesday is our regular grocery-shopping day and I'm always tired after that.

We had "pie" for our meal. Pizza pie and apple pie for dessert.

Had the dessert pie from Kroger's bakery and it was yummy. Our Kroger produces most of the best commercially-made baked goods.

As for the pizza, it was a frozen Freschetta one, which is the brand we really like. This company does a fine job with their crusts and don't slog sauce all over it. The toppings are tasty and plentiful. We consider this brand to be about the best frozen variety available.

Last night's was a "supreme" and was on special for $3.99. Good deal and there are two pieces left we can reheat for lunch today.

Win! Win!
