Definitely doesnt look like that here ( In NY) now. Im babying banana's, orange, grapefruit,, yuzu, pineapple, Lemmon grass, curry leaf tree, bay leaf plant, 10 baby jackfruit trees I successfully started from seed for kicks, and, andd now not. too sure. what Im going to doo with them , some other tropical plants and a whole bunch of fig trees in my plant room ( and garage). Already killed my Pandan plant. Was going strong for 2 + years, and it. took a turn for the worse. It smelled so good everytime I entered the room.

I don’t have banana tree but this year I’m getting into tropical fruit. Already acquired 5 guava trees and maybe more. That’s what happens when i watch a lot of tropical fruit nursery youtube videos.
I’m impressed about your attempt at growing Jack Fruit, even in Zone 10, I read they don't ripen up.
My Pandan plant is still alive but a lot of my tropical herbs are dead.

I used to like watercress but it's been so long since I've had it not even sure I would recognize the taste!
I do know the one time I saw it recently in the store was a fairly big bunch and I figured it would be a waste of money - 80% would have to be chucked before I could eat that much.
I once had the most delicious chilled cream of watercress soup. I was fairly young then and have zero idea where to start to recreate it. I just remember it being so cool and having a mixture of delicate flavors.

I had a guava tree that I successfully killed. I kind wanted to prove I could germinate a jackfruit seed. Surprisingly, all 10 germinated. It's the last fruit We ate with my son and his wife before they went back to China, so there is a sentimentaness about it. But I have no realistic hopes it will ever fruit, but I'll try to keep it/ them alive as long as I could. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention I have a pomegranate tree too, but still too young to fruit.

The last time we had watercress was last week-the farmer's market has micro green in all types. Mr bliss brought home watercress microgreens and broccoli microgreens.
They are easy to grow indoors. Get a 10x20 inch flat, use dirt or some dirtless medium, some seeds and it takes about a week to two. I only have broccoli seeds for that but maybe it's time to get a little watercress seeds too.

I have broccoli seeds for sprouting. I just get too lazy. Watercress is no work for me, they just come up on their own, like a ground cover.
