Have you ever shared the recipe for those black bean brownies?
I make mine oil free (like this one), with apple or pear sauce, with oatmeal, with black beans, I don't use sugar I use date paste.
I don't use walnuts in our brownies. The vegan chocolate chips are those without butter or milk products.

Another healthy dessert bar, white bean brownies substituting powdered peanut butter for the cocoa.

@taxlady, I saw this today on Nutritionfact.org. Why we should each eat some cocoa powder every day.
Older adults who consumed a tablespoon of natural, unprocessed cocoa each day for 12 weeks had a significant improvement in muscle mass index, grip strength, and all four physical function tests.

Natural cocoa also enhances walking performance in people with peripheral artery disease by improving blood flow and mitochondrial activity in muscles.

Why might cocoa be beneficial? Natural cocoa contains flavonoids, a type of phytonutrient that is found in higher amounts in natural (non-alkalized) cocoa compared to Dutched (alkalized) cocoa.

What else can cocoa do? Less than a tablespoon of cocoa can increase circulation within our skin, boosting it by 70 percent within two hours. Consume cocoa every day, and within three months, we end up with significantly improved skin thickness, density, and hydration. After six months, we can see a noticeable reduction in wrinkles and increased skin elasticity.

Thank you. I have saved it to Copy Me That. I watched a reel on FB yesterday where someone made some. I was about to copy their recipe, because it looked easy and tasty, but then I remembered that you make them. I would rather try a recipe from someone I know than from some random person on FB.
