I went to IHOP for breakfast at almost 4PM today. I had chicken fried steak with country gravy, hashbrowns, 2 eggs over easy, 4 pieces of toast, and 2 pancakes. I brought home about 1/3rd of the chicken fried steak, both of the pancakes, and 1 piece of the toast. I am pretty stuffed.
I went to Panda Express after and picked up some takeout American style Chinese: half orange chicken, half teriyaki chicken, and chow mein noodles. Now generally I prefer rice to noodles with my Asian style food, but Panda Express has poorly executed rice (either the fried or the white) about 5 out of 6 times, so I just get the noodles instead. I generally can make this container last for 3-4 meals because I will stir fry some red cabbage, carrots, and spinach and then add some of the noodles and chicken to warm them up, then drizzle with sesame oil and top with chopped green onion and sesame seeds when serving. It's a pretty healthy and tasty breakfast for me for the next few days when it will be extremely cold out.
