I made a chicken pot pie soup to serve in a bread bowl that I made earlier today. What did you make?

I made a half recipe of Chef John's Italian White Bean and Sausage Soup. That is such good, hearty soup. I often use kale in this and it is the best way I have eaten kale. Other than this soup, I'm not much of a fan of kale. So, now I have even more leftovers, or rather, already meals, waiting for me in the fridge. I'll probably put some of the soup in the freezer. I sprinkled shredded Pecorino Romano on top. So good.

Made pasta for myself - three servings, to eat over the new few days. Had it with the biggy salad I made previously and is starting to have seen better days.

Pasta is chickpea pasta from Trade Joe. It's not bad for a lower carb item.

No, I've never tried that. Something to consider. First, I think I'll try putting a thermometer in there...
I used to buy rotisserie chicken from a Latin American lady, when I lived in town. She had the best rotisserie chicken. She always put peeled, boiled potatoes at the bottom of her rotisserie cabinets and let all the chickens drip on them. Those were wonderful too. I don't know if the potatoes were fully cooked or only partially cooked when they went into the bottom of those rotisserie cabinets. It probably didn't hurt that the chickens were basted in a really good sauce.
