For tonight, it was a form of pepper steak, using cube steak braised in chicken stock with baby carrots, oyster sauce, garlic, onion, ginger, and Lee & Peron's Worcestershire Sauce. The braising liquid was then used to cook rice noodles, and thickened with cornstarch slurry. The meat was very tender, with good, beefy flavor. For me, the stars of the show were the sliced red, yellow, and orange pepper slices, and the baby carrots. They really added great flavor. Desert was a small amount of left over ice cream.
