One pot cheesy ground beef and potatoes. Not pretty by any means, but easy prep and very little to clean up. Best of all, it's quite tasty!

I finished off the last of the "lightly" dusted calamari. Had a large salad earlier. Perfect for me.

Just remembered had a bag of vegie chips on the way back in the car today. They were great! Puffy oval discs of a variety of vegies. Bag is gone, don't remember the name. I liked them as they were not salty at all. Think they were strong enough to be used for dipping. I got the plain Sea Salt one and it was NOT overly salty, very light, I was impressed. There were two others, one a Jalapeno, other was Sea Salt and Vinegar.

Not a large bag but more than single serve of course. Those tiny single serve, I usually need at least 3 to satisfy. Of course I ate the whole bag 🐷while driving. Priced according to size but was on sale to boot... so a win, win!

I had that Danish ground beef dish called pariserbøf. It's a ground beef patty with a bunch of garnishes: chopped pickled beet, chopped red onion, chopped "pickle" (I use hot giardiniera), capers, horseradish, and an egg yolk sitting in an onion ring. It's supposed to be on toasted bread, but I didn't want any bread. The horseradish is supposed to be freshly shredded, but it's hard to find fresh horseradish where I live, especially in winter, so I used prepared horseradish. I had a small salad of green crisp lettuce, cucumber, and avocado slices dressed with my batch vinaigrette. I do enjoy that pariserbøf.

Well it's Thursday. No one started a dinner thread and I don't feel like starting one, so I'll just put my Thursday's meal here.

Dinner mystery shop at the bar. I'm back home again so I took my husband with.

The Thursday dinner thread was started around 7 or 8 AM.

The Thursday dinner thread was started around 7 or 8 AM.

I searched for it for several minutes and couldn't find it. And yes, I know how to look for it but it wasn't showing. About 1 out of 15 times it's not populating for me. It would be so much easier if we had an extended weekly or monthly dinner thread. I know I'm not the only person who has issues finding the dinner threads.

What browser are you using? The only times that I have not been able to find it is when someone is posting it while I'm still writing up my version to post.

@taxlady , the other time you might not see a thread is if the person starting it is on someone's Ignore list.

There have been plenty of times I figured that's why I didn't see a supper thread.
But then you always come through by starting it 2:00 AM my time the following day :ROFLMAO:

Sometimes I use Google Chrome, and sometimes I use Firefox. I have a laptop, a desktop, and a phone so it just depends.

If I don't see it, I go to "Today's Menu." It's always one of the first two or three listed. If not there, it is generally because someone is in the process of creating it. I've used all of those browsers, plus a few in addition to a laptop, desk top and a phone.
Yup. Only I was looking for it much later than when it was created, but it wasn't populating for me there.

Today, I smoked a rack of BB pork ribs, but that was for a neighbor who helped me get my new smoker out of the truck.

Tonight it was all Texas Gulf Coast. Texas wild caught Gulf shrimp, Sautéed in butter and minced garlic, served over Texas long grain rice. I poured the garlic brown butter sauce over the whole dish for the rice to soak up.

I forgot about that possibility, since I don't have anyone on ignore.
