Going boating on the intracoastal waterway tomorrow. Was not allowed to come unless I bring ABT's. Lots of beer. That's Saturday.

Sunday I'm thinking of doing beef ribs just to play around with em.

Bought some tickets from my neighbor for a BBQ fundraiser tonight. Don't know who did the BBQ. Ought to be interesting. Got a bunch of chicken I'm gonna cook tomorrow night. Know of a good sauce I can use?

I's home this weekend. Aged rib-eyes over lump on the kettle clone tonight (wonder where that idea came from, eh TL ;) ), ribs on WSM tomorrow. Sunday? Maybe chickens.

Reminder: Sunday is Mother's Day guys, don't forget.

I was scheduled to cook 2 cases of boston butts for the Children's Miracle Network this weekend. Unfortunatly they did not come in on the truck. So I'm off to Jamestown, SC and the Hell Hole Swamp Festival to judge a contest. I passed on Darlington. That could have been a mistake.

A friend of mine spent the night before the race in a tent in the infield in Darlington...said it was the scariest night of his life. The story included gun shots....

Working both days.

And pardon my ignorance but will somebody please tell me what the hell ABT's are? I've been reading those three letters for months and keep forgetting to ask. Something to do with chili peppers? And how come I don't already know when everyone else seems to? Actually, please refrain from answering that last question...

Not much cookin' done this weekend. Friday nite went to the Mohegan Sun Casino and saw the Sting show (full comp - tickets and hotel room), with 3 friends from the bar I'm grillin' at. Sting has still got a great voice, not too bad a show, although I probably wouldn't pay to see him. Got back saturday morning and slept all day. Sunday did some chicken breasts and country ribs on the gasser, overcooked 'em (oh well, pretty good with that pig powder on them). The weather here on the the weekends has pretty much sucked...
