Had a hankering for pasties, especially after I saw a piece on TV about a great place in Michigan that has made them for years and years.

Well, that sent me over the edge.

So...pasties it is. Used this recipe. Sooooo good and some leftover to freeze.
 
Grilled pork chop, mashed potato and broiled zucchini.

Dinner was stove top grilled flank steak, steamed baby spinach and Bob Evan's sour cream and chive mashed potatoes.
 
Great looking meals tonight!
I forgot to post about the really good Asian soup I made on Tues. It had braised pork shoulder along with udon noodles, shitake mushrooms and asparagus pieces.

We're having the leftovers tonight with the leftover Mexican Cornbread.

I'll freeze the rest of the remaining cornbread CC.

I had some of the leftover goat birjani. Then I went back downstairs and had some hard steamed eggs and some Brie on Scandinavian crisp rye, no, not mixed together.
 
I had a surprise dinner after my dessert. The neighbor next door sent her boy over with a plate of fried sausage, potatoes and cabbage. Too much for me alone, so the cats surprised me by eating some cabbage, Buttercup is finishing it up. I'm stuffed!

on edit: I forgot to mention, it only took the boy 5 minutes to catch Buttercup and get her back in the house. Would've taken me 45 minutes.
