I had crispy garlic chicken thighs and a quick pickled celery, white bean, and feta salad. I have made the salad before and really like it. The chicken thighs were good, but I seem to have screwed up the sauce by using tomato paste instead of ketchup. I have done that before without problem, but this time I used Mutti double concentrated tomato paste and I probably should have diluted it and used a lot less. It sort of looked curdled and not very saucy. The sauce tasted fine, but I won't use that kind of olives in it another time.

It’s possible that you just need to adapt your recipe to the right product.
Mutti paste is infinitely better than tomato sauce.

After my trip to the dentist, I needed soft food. Frank made a delectable dinner by using Kraft Mac-n-Cheese. How did he make it delectable? He used real butter and turned on the TV before serving. ;)

Truly....no complaints!

oh, yes...

need to do mac n cheese again soon ;P

Mac and Cheese is a dish that I haven’t done for a long time.
When I was brought in to the hotel restaurant, I started as a commi. Peeling spuds and preparing everyone else’s station.
Then I was put onto the lift station- as room service was known. Endless club sandwiches.
By then I was convinced that my chef hated me.
Anyway, I got put onto the pasta machine and I thrived! I adore pasta.
We were doing Mac and Cheese as a main (!) for weddings (!!)
It wasn’t good and I complained to my chef. I thought he was going to fire me. Instead, he took me under his wing and taught me all I took with me in my career.
