What green vegetable lasts longest in the frig

plastic wrap is no good for vegetables. you want to keep them in the fridge unwrapped. they will last longer.
How is it no good for vegetables? It keeps the moisture in the air stable around the vegetables, very dry, or very moist, or somewhere in between.
 
I can't picture putting greens in a fridge unwrapped. I agree, that too much wetness would cause it to rot, but it has to have some. With those things from my hydroponics, that don't really have things on them I need to wash off, I'll just wet my hands, to put them in the Ziploc - gives them just enough, but not too much water. If washing, I'll spin dry them, and this does the same.
 
yes i agree you can't put romaine or other greens flush on a fridge shelf. but you can wrap them in papertowels or some such to pro long their life
