I had a Wendy's half Chicken Pecan salad and 5 of my homemade mini meatballs in tomato sauce for dinner.
I steamed some artichokes, made the dipping sauce and then we ordered take out appetizers to share from our newly discovered upscale restaurant here. All were just delicious. The two plates pictured were just my half.
Frankly, their food is just spectacular and the chef is brilliant. He's far too talented to waste his talent in this town of 30,000. Our choices from the curb side menu were:
Crab Cakes
Homemade lump crab cakes served with a roasted corn
and tequila lime sauce
Shishito Peppers
Pan fried Japanese peppers, crisp and flavorful with a mild kick
Burrata Ravioli
Two homemade ravioli, filled with Parmesiano Reggiano
and burrata cheese, with homemade marinara sauce,
drizzled with pesto basil oil
Ahi Tuna Two Ways
Seared or sashimi style tuna slices with wasabi, soy sauce
and pickled ginger
Skinny Onion Rings
Thin sliced buttermilk battered onion rings
I may never cook again....
