Exactly. For some reason, breakfast and lunch have to be fairly quick meals for me. Certainly not because I have something else to do. It's just that way. I do make the Chef's pancake recipe on request but that's the limit of my time expenditure.
I usually make a bunch of waffles in one morning then freeze the leftovers in various portion sizes for quick and easy breakfasts.

I bought my waffle iron for around $10. It was money well spent. I make delicious sourdough waffles with it. Heck of a lot better than Eggos and pretty simple to make.
The issue is not how good the waffles are or how much a waffle maker costs. I agree homemade waffles would be much better than Eggo.

The issue is that I don't want to spend the time in the morning to make waffles for breakfast.

Make them in the evening!:kiss:

I batch cook at times and don't necessarily eat what I'm cooking that night.

Waffles are faster to make then pancakes.

Thanks.
I'm looking for something different to try, other than the cheaper beans I grind. Just to see if it wows me.
And Amazon has it :)

The supermarket I used to go to roasted the beans in store. Smelled wonderful in there. But they closed. I now buy my coffee beans here >>>https://javamania.com/

I feel the same way. So I make a big batch and freeze. We like bacon and corn waffles. Pop in toaster when the urge hits. I use this waffle maker that is so old, a recipe in its cookbook says to slice your bread.

I have a small round waffle maker, but the old one makes better waffles.

BTW, when my DD's were little, I would break apart the squares into 8 small squares. They loved them. I would use left over little squares to make tiny PB&J sandwiches for them. They always thought they were getting more little ones. LOL

I skipped brunch this Sunday and instead had cold (cold left in the box all night, not cold out of the fridge) Papa John's anchovy and banana pepper pizza left over from last night's supper. Papa John's is the only chain that still offers anchovies.

I went grocery shopping at 7AM this morning, and stopped at McD's for a Sausage McMuffin with egg, and a coffee before shopping. I haven't had one of those in ages. It is one of very few fast food items I really like.
