My favs:
Beef+ Mashed or baked pot, with Veg medly
Fish+ fries of some sort. Tots.or crispy and a cream corn or whole kernel
Poultry+ Mashed pot, Green beens and Carrots Or corn on the cob.
Pork with Red skin garlic& herb Mashed and succatache (sp) Or a baked bean also works well with pork.

I 'm a simple plan kinda guy.

Beef - potatoes, carrots, green beans - or pasta and peas
Fish - potatoes, coleslaw or salad
Pork - sweet potatoes, or garlic mashed potatoes, broccoli
Poultry - most anything - potatoes, rice or pasta, most any green vegetable, salad or slaw, or vegetable tray
Just my opinion -

i like to mix and match sides, myself. i prefer fish with rice and beef with potatoes but IMO veggies go with anything! i also like to have a salad with beef... leafy greens help digestion.

How funny ... I never really thought about a certain side going with a certain kind of meat, I think more in terms of the preparations going together. But, now that you've got me thinking, I like rice pilafs with fish. Shrimp and other shellfish are great on a bed of linguini. Cole slaw is good with fried foods of all kind ... Oh, dearie me ... I'm doing it again, going for the prep rather than the food itself.
