I am making a Thai stir fry/pasta dish that has a peanut based sauce. What would accompany this well? I was thinking some sort of salad would be nice but I don't know what sort of salad would go well with it. Any ideas?

And would any wine go with a meal like that?

Thanks.

I like Thai soups. Anything with a light coconut broth, thai curry paste some chicken and veggies would be a nice accompainement.

The spring rolls sound like a winner to me! A Gruner Veltliner goes well with Thai. Mostly something with a bit of sweetness is what comes to mind - like a light Riesling...a kabinett versus a spatlese or auslese. I prefer a troken (dry), but, that's just me. A fruit forward pinot grigio will also work.

As far as a salad if you google Thai Salad Recipes you will come up with some good ideas. I like the cucumber salad with some spice to it. It also will be easier to make than the spring rolls and no flying grease to clean up

I made a thai noodle dish last week with a snow pea salad. Snow peas, scallions toasted seasame seeds, and a light dressing of soy sauce, lemon, and a seasame seed and canola oil mixture. I can try and find the exact recipe if you'd like.
