What y'all got planned for the coming weekend?

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that enjoys cooking.

i change earrings because i want to, not because i have to.
Haircut, big bathroom clean, the monthlyh changing of my multiple piercings. other than that, business as usual ...
So, is that multiple sets of ear piercings? I, and probably some others, thought you meant more interesting piercings than in ears.

I have to go to the storage unit and dig out the boxes of old photo's. There are two wooden boxes (like the steel kit ones you get in the army for at the end of your bed?). Actually there maybe 3. But I'm too scared to go there.

Our cooking class was a blast! We went with friends who had their daughter (age 12 going on 30) with us. She was a delight and remained very attentive throughout the class. She had never used knife-skills before, and she did a great job mincing, slicing, etc. The knife was likely too big for her, but she was conscientious and and meticulous in every task we gave her. In the end, we made several pizzas. One was a white pizza with arugula on top - something I would likely not have ordered out, but it was delicious. We also did the calzone and a stromboli. Here are some photos of our results!

They all look fantastic Kathleen. good job! Stromboli actually interests me, not so much calzone for some reason.
And the "white" of your white pizza consisted of ...???

I worked for an ad agency for about six months 20 years ago, and one of the other art directors had piercings, including one called a Jacob's Ladder. Google it.

I was hoping you would chime in on this. I figured you would have the definitive answer, but is sounds like there is disagreement even in Italia.

Panzerotto is something I really want to try, but no place in North Texas has it. I'm just going to make it myself. If you have a good recipe or link to a good recipe, post it up. I want to do it right.

I've chosen this one, seems accurate even if everyone has their own version, all the other videos are in Italian. Panzerotti are typical of the Puglia region, we used to eat them on the beach! 😀The resort we used to stay at, would send someone every day with a big box full of panzerotti selling them to us holiday makers, they were heavenly! 😃

@dragnlaw The white sauce had butter, flour, whole milk, salt, black pepper, a bit of nutmeg, a bit of cayenne, couple cloves of garlic, basil, and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. Very tasty.

The stromboli was very good. We rolled out the dough and dusted the surface with freshly grated parm and black pepper. Then, we started to layer. Salami, cheese closest to us. Then red pepper all over. Finally fresh spinach all over. We rolled it up, put a few slashes in, and brushed with a beaten egg before baking. Extremely tasty. It was served with some zesty tomato sauce for dipping.

If this came with a badge, I would be there. (I am a frustrated girl scout and love badges.)

Edit: Okay, I had to try it. Do I have to subscribe? I'm confused. After two words, I received this message:

i did, at your suggestion. did you know i'm using a work computer? i'm going to get in so much trouble now. :(

All I got on Jacob's Ladder was the tattoo symbolizing the ladder between Heaven and Earth. My understanding of the tattoo part was a lot more depraved but I couldn't find anything on that with Dr. Google.

Well, that's what I thought (and in not so comfortable places). But I found no references to that particular interpretation/rendition/version/variation.

😱🙀😲🤯🤭
WHAT!!!! Remove the filter!!! Don't think my poor old eyes would be able to take it.
I'm 80 and now have to go for a driver's test, every two years, sigh... I need to protect my eyes, cognition, sensibilities, and rules of the road. Wassa matter wid dem.... my road - my rules!!!

It is actually a series of piercings that form a ladder... um... think about it.
