I just made a pot of chili today too, (w/the air conditioner on) my recipe sounds just like yours--very good, we had Jiffy corn muffin mix (in pan) and some awesome brownies I threw together at the last minute. Nothing sweet in the house !!!- lol

Sounds good but what are glazed ham balls ?

A meat ball with equal parts ground ham and ground lean pork, cracker crumbs, eggs and milk; the glaze has brown sugar, dry mustard and vinegar.
Simple and old-fashioned Southern standard. And a good way to use up leftover ham.

Well, since our local organic market had piles & piles of perfectly ripe & luscious-looking local tomatoes + husband didn't get home from work until late last night, we each enjoyed large, juicy, BLT's (mine with regular bacon; his with turkey bacon) along with bowls of Progresso "Hearty Tomato" soup (which, by the way, is quite good!!).
