Browned Nathan's all beef hot dogs, removed, fried onions and parcooked potatoes until browned slightly, added parcooked sliced cabbage and fried for a bit, hot dogs back in. Served with mustard. It was pretty good, but not pretty to look at.

We had small plates. Himself had the last of Thursday's salsa chicken over rice. I had some of yesterday's pork tenderloin, the last of the collard greens, a nuked yellow potato (with real butter :yum: ), and a few cut-up baby Campari tomatoes with Malden sea salt.

OK, so supper was leftovers. :sneaky: But we ate off small plates.

Hope you and Stirling feel better soon. It's probably from the stress of being without power for three or four days.
Yup, that's what we figure. We both felt a fair bit better after supper. We used a lot of energy yesterday making sure that everything was charged to max and dealing with the freezer. We also schlepped a bunch of stuff to the curb (~50 metres, door to curb) for "garbage night". Didn't matter that we were pooped, next chance was this coming Wednesday.

It was four hours short of four days. Seemed like a lot longer than that.

Hauled out and chunked up a large chicken breast, chunked red pepper, thick slices of mushroom, chunks of celery and chunks of sweet potato, couple of scallions. Threw the entire works in an electric fry pan and let it cook away.
Thickened the sauce a bit and poured over.
Was great! didn't think, didn't measure, just threw it all in. Very satisfying!
