Wilson Pickett dead at 64. I may have to buy a cheap bottle of bourbon and listen to the blues tonight. In the Midnight Hour, Mustang Sally, Land of 1000 Dances, Everybody Needs Somebody to Love, 6345789. These songs will no doubt be played for many years to come.

Unfortunate loss,

Jack

As a former nightclub DJ at an oldies club in Myrtle Beach called Studebakers, I can attest that the wicked wicked Wilson Pickett will be missed. Land of a 1000 Dances still makes me get up out of my chair.
