Can anyone tell me what to marinate wild turkey in to take away game flavor? Or even if i should marinate it before cooking.

I have never had a wild turkey that tasted gamey. In fact, all the wild turkey I have had was indistinguisable (sp?) from domestic turkey, you could not tell the difference! Because I am chicken when cooking wild turkey, I always cook them in a bag, works everytime, nice and juicy. I use those Reynolds cooking bags.

One thing to remember about game, is that if the game lives anywhere near farmland that raises any kind of grain, then that game is most probably grain-fed, just like cattle are. Most game animals from pastoral areas don't have a "gamey" taste to them as a result.
