I have been making up beef and bean burritos and freezing them for my family. My problem is- when cooked they unravel. I thought about putting a little egg wash on them when making. Does anyone have any ideas?

Could be you are filling them too full or wrapping them wrong. Usually just setting them seam side down is enough.

The ends don't come undone just the seam. I fill the flour tortillas with beef bean and cheese then roll up tucking the ends in as I go. I then lay them seam side down on a baking sheet and flash freeze for 1 hour. I then wrap each in saran wrap and place in zippered freezer bag. when we take them out of the freezer and put in hot oil the seam just opens up leaving a kind'v flap. They are edible just not very pretty..lol Does egg wash work on flour tortilla like it does on pastry?
