Man I hope he makes it. I've read about how this guy got his start with Keller and then shifted gears after a stage at El Bulli. I've always been real excited to see what he comes up with next, and I think it's great that Chicago has another great name in the restaurant world.
 
The fact that he's a controversial and innovative chef has little to do with how sad it is that he's suffering from tongue cancer.

Imagine a chef who can't taste? :ermm: :ohmy:

I wish him a successful treatment and full recovery.
